Creating a Culture of Welcome: Disability Inclusion in Sport

How can sports organisations help people with disabilities feel welcome, included and confident to participate? This practical webinar will explore how the language, imagery and information we share can shape someone’s experience, from discovering an activity online to arriving at a venue.

Who is it for?

Marketing and communications teams, event organisers, sports clubs, national governing bodies, and anyone working in sport, fitness or leisure who wants to make their communications and experiences more inclusive.

What will you learn?

  • How to use inclusive language and represent people with disabilities authentically, without relying on stereotypes.

  • How to identify barriers across the participant journey, from booking to arrival and taking part.

  • Practical ways to help people with different access needs feel welcome at sports events and fitness spaces.

  • How to make your social media and advertising more accessible.

You’ll leave with examples and practical actions you can apply to your own communications, events and venues.
