Hidden Patterns of High-Impact Leaders: Why Your Best Work Goes Unnoticed
Many capable leaders assume their work will speak for itself. But at senior levels, impact needs to be visible, understood and connected to what matters most.
For women working in sport, performance is often visible on the field, court or track but leadership impact behind the scenes can be much harder to see. Whether you are influencing stakeholders, building partnerships, leading teams, shaping strategy, creating change or navigating your next career move, being able to recognise, communicate and own your impact is critical.
This practical and reflective taster session will introduce the Hidden Patterns of High-Impact Leaders framework and explore one common hidden leadership pattern: under-communicating impact.
Together, we will explore why capable leaders can sometimes underplay their contribution, how this can limit visibility, influence and progression, and how to communicate impact with greater confidence and clarity without it feeling like self-promotion.
Participants will leave with:
An introduction to the Hidden Patterns framework
Insight into how under-communicating impact can limit leadership visibility and influence
Space to reflect on where this pattern may show up in their own work and leadership
Practical actions they can apply immediately to make their impact more visible, recognised and valued
