4 years of Sky Sport

We’re delighted to announce that Sky Sports has extended its support of the Women’s Sport Collective for the fourth year.

Sky has been a critical partner for us as the Collective has grown to become a thriving free community for over 6,500 women working across sports.

This year’s partnership builds on the hugely successful Fresh Perspectives initiative, which we piloted in 2023.

Fresh Perspectives, which is led by Chloe Walton ACMA, CPCC, creates new, cross-industry relationships between senior leaders in sport to challenge the status quo, working towards a gender-equal sports industry.

The aim of this year's programme is to understand and harness the power of male allyship to create a workplace culture that enables women to thrive.

This year’s cohort pairs senior men at Sky Sports with female leaders in sport from organisations including the ECB, World Rugby, Rounders England, City Football Group, More Than Equal, England Netball, PepsiCo, Sport England, Access Sport and the Premier League.

Our learnings from Fresh Perspectives 2024 will be shared more widely across the industry at the end of the year.

One of the other benefits of this relationship is that Kate Hannon and I get to work with some incredible people across Sky Sports. A huge thank you to Jo Osborne, Jonathan Licht, Inga Ruehl, Abigail Hallworth, Alex Henderson Kristina Godwin, Kitty Clarry and Anna Kessel MBE for their continued support and commitment to gender parity in sport.
