IMG Women’s Golf Day

This time last week, we were gathering under a very hot summer sun at our Women’s Golf Day, hosted by IMG in partnership with the Women’s Sport Collective.

For many of those who joined us, it was the very first time they had picked up a golf club. Others were returning to the game or simply enjoying the opportunity to spend a day outdoors with women from across the sports industry.

What united everyone was a willingness to try something new, connect with others and have some fun along the way.

A huge thank you to Lizzie Cottrell and the entire IMG WISE team for hosting such a welcoming and enjoyable day, to Sam Hammond for kindly making the introduction for the day. We loved seeing so many conversations continue long after the final putt, with new connections made across the Women’s Sport Collective community.

We were also incredibly lucky to have PGA Professional Sarah Blythe-Wood and the team at Dukes Meadows for guiding everyone through the day with expert coaching, encouragement and plenty of laughs.
