Members Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Women’s Sport Collective - a supportive community for women working across sport. By being part of this group, you agree to the following principles, which help maintain a respectful, inclusive and professional environment.
1. Be Respectful and Kind
• Follow the Chatham House Rules: you may share what is said, but not who said it
• Be generous - support others, share opportunities and get involved
• Discrimination, bullying or harmful behaviour will not be tolerated
2. Protect Privacy
• Do not share private messages or personal details outside the group
• Screenshots or forwarding of messages are not allowed without permission
3. WhatsApp and Group Etiquette
• Keep posts relevant and professional
• Avoid spam or excessive self-promotion
• Respect others’ time and maintain a courteous tone
• Admins may remove posts or members if rules are broken
4. Who Can Join
• Membership is open to anyone who identifies as a woman, aged 18 or over.
• Membership is currently free. If this changes, advance notice will be given
5. Data and Communication
• Your name and contact details may be shared within the group
• You will receive updates from Fearless Women Ltd, who manage the WSC
• All data will be handled in line with UK data protection laws
6. Use of the Women’s Sport Collective’s name
• Do not use the Women’s Sport Collective name, logo or branding to promote your own business or brands without written permission
• If speaking publicly, make clear your views are your own and not those of the WSC
7. Misconduct and Reporting
• Concerns can be raised confidentially by emailing kate.hannon@fearlesswomen.co.uk
• Fearless Women Ltd may suspend or revoke membership where guidelines are breached
• Members will be informed of any action taken and may appeal decisions
8. Conflicts of Interest
• The WSC is a community space, not a sales platform
• When you are posting in one of our social media groups, please declare if you are promoting a business or service that benefits you personally
9. Updates
• This Code of Conduct will be reviewed regularly
• Any updates will be communicated. Continuing your membership means agreeing to the most recent version
10. Agreement
By remaining a member of the Women’s Sport Collective, you agree to uphold these guidelines and contribute positively to the community.
